  • Who should I contact for technical questions?
If you run into any obstacles regarding the website, Element, the live calls, or anything technical/computer related, please don't hesitate to text Chandler at (828) 216-3421. He will assist as soon as possible so we can return to focusing on our work and joy together!
  • Do I have to enter the password every time I visit Sovereign Pearl?
Once you've accessed one of the Parlors, that page will remain available forever. If you use a new device, you'll be prompted to type in the password again. Keeping our container tight, and conversations private, allows for deeper exploration, vulnerability, and honesty.
  • How do I access the live conversations?
A day or two before the group call we will send a link to a dedicated, private and encrypted Jitsi page. All you need to do is click the link, sign up, and join the call. As always, if you encounter any issues with accessing the group, please text Chandler at (828) 216-3421. He is always available when we are beginning the live sessions.
  • How to I sign up and access Element?
Step 1: Click the link provided in the Welcome Email, or click any of the links labelled "Element" on the Sovereign Pearl Page, or go to your phone's app store and lookup Element. It will appear like this... Step 2: Open the Element app and click "create account". The app looks like this (sorry for my son's flex picture!), followed by the "create account" picture... Step 3: Skip the "Who will you chat to the most?" question by clicking on the bottom link, highlighted in green that reads, "Skip this question". Step 4: Enter your email. Step 5: Verify your new account by clicking the link in your email. Looks like this (check Spam or All Mail if you don't see the email within a couple minutes). Step 6: Return to the Element App and agree to the Terms by clicking on "Terms and Conditions". Click Next. Step 7: You will see this green screen with your username and ability to personalize your profile. Feel free to add any info and a profile picture, or simply skip and click "Take Me Home". Please note and write down your account name. Looks like @ctfritz2:matrix.org. Step 8: Choose "Not Now" at the next screen, unless you don't mind sharing anonymous user data. Step 9: Share via text your account name to Chandler at (828) 216-3421 so he can send an invite. Step 10: After Chandler has received your account name, you will be sent an invitation to your phone or device. When it arrives, simply click "Join Space" via the green link at the bottom. Step 11: After joining the Sovereign Pearl Space, you will see a list of available share rooms. Click each one to join and then, when all of them are complete, enter the "General Discussion and Questions" room and introduce yourself. Step 12: Congratulations! You have successfully joined the Sovereign Pearl Share Space! Feel free to browse all the rooms and join in the discussions whenever you feel like it. To move between rooms, simply click the back button (arrow) at the top lefthand side of the page and choose another room to share with others and explore current, and previous, discussions. If you encounter any obstacles along the way, please reach out to Chandler at (828) 216-3421 via text and he will call/text you as soon as possible to ease any technological frustrations you are experiencing. Looking forward to all the discussions, questions, thoughts, and wisdom we will create together!
  • I've followed the steps above and still cannot get on Element...help!
If you've gone through all of the steps to sign up and access our dedicated, encrypted, private chat rooms and still cannot access our communal space, please text Chandler at (828) 216-3421 and he will setup a call to walk through the process with you and troubleshoot until you're in and comfortable with the app.
  • Can anyone else read our conversations in Element?
The only people with access to our group share page are women currently diving into Sovereign Pearl and previous Pearls who have completed the course. We host the chat rooms on our own dedicated, encrypted server so that all of our shares remains private, sacred, and protected. Because we host the app locally, on a dedicated hard drive at home, no one, including anyone at Element or online, has access to our conversations...and it will always remain that way. This is very important to me as some of the dialogue leans toward personal, vulnerable, and intimate...just the way it needs to be for growth and healing.
